Plug Headers are most often used for process air-coolers and other types of headers have been developed for specific applications. These are Cover Plate and Bonnet Headers for cleaning of the bundle inside or for easy access to the tube to tube sheet joint for welding or Manifold and Billet Headers for high pressure applications.
